Ok, you might be thinking, what in the world does a website have to do with climate change? But seriously, think about it with me for a moment.

Why is the climate changing?

We all know the answer to this. It's been drilled into our heads lately, so I'm going to give you the Cliffs Notes version. HUMANS: We build things, we make things, we over produce things. We have factories, production plants, and we have one of everything in our homes.

There it is. An over-abundance and over-production of everything, over time, equals climate change. So, work backwards with me for a moment.

Let's picture a neighborhood with 50 houses in it. What do those 50 houses have?  They have 50-100 cars, 50 blenders, 50 vacuum cleaners, 50 patio Grills, 50 baking pans, 50 computers, 100-500 books, 50 washing machines and 50 dryers.

So here's the part we have to work backwards: The more we share, the more we have. The more we have, the less we need. The less we need, the less we demand (buy). The less we demand (buy), the less they supply (produce). The less they supply (produce), the less we contribute to climate change.

Is it a cure?  No.  But is it a change that we should be considering as a culture?  It sure is.  Sharing should be the expectation, not the exception.  Something very simple has the power to make a huge impact.  All you have to do is share, and teach others to do the same. Together, as a culture, we make the difference.
