Global Warming Fact Or Fiction
Over the past years there has been lots of talk about Global Warming and Climate change.
So much that Governments now have made vast efforts and invested lots of money to battle climate change so our futures are safer.
The question that is always on my mind is this, are we really at danger levels? Or is it just another way of making money for our Governments?
Now before everyone tells me that I am talking a load of rubbish, let me say that I have been writing about environmental issues for 2 years and I am all for saving the planet and all of its inhabitants.
But I must also talk about other articles and television programs that have read or watched.
So we are all aware that carbon emissions from factories, car emissions, and other usages by humans all add to putting a hole in our ozone layer and therefore contributes to Climate Change and Global Warming, this is a fact that has been drilled into our minds for a decade or more.Fine we can all accept that and we act on it by changing our lifestyles, we buy new cars with lower emissions we throw up new wind turbines to lower emissions on electricity and energy costs that also help the environment. The list can go on forever the changes we make to help control climate change, all these have one thing in common it all costs money which in turn means more taxes from our Governments to to put all these helpful changes in place.
As I stated earlier there are lots of websites and television programs supporting this big venture, help our environment right?
Let us look at some other facts about climate change:
1.Not only is water vapor the planet’s most abundant greenhouse gas, it also is known to amplify the warming effect of other such gases, including carbon dioxide. Scientists refer to the process as a positive feedback loop: Higher temperatures lead to higher concentrations of water vapor, which then absorbs more thermal energy radiated from the Earth, which further warms the atmosphere.
2.The earth gets heat from the sun we all know this, but what is not a known fact is that the sun gives off flares, when the flare is big the earth heats up when it is small it cools down, and over history we have had heat waves and ice ages because of these.
3.If a volcano erupts the ash goes into the atmosphere and blocks out some of our sunlight, this can cause temperature change also.
These are just some facts that effect climate change and have done since the earth was formed.
I also read a article stating that humans are only responsible for 3 % of emissions and the Sea and other natural factors are responsible for the rest.
Personally I think that we all should help our environment give a little back of what we take.

Perhaps it is not the biggest environmental menace compared to global warming, oil spills or the ozone layer but the humble plastic carrier bag is responsible for a considerable amount of problems and damage to the environment.
