Global warming is real and will be with us for a 100 years or until we seriously address these serious issues. We will have many massive hurricanes, tornadoes, hail and electrical storms, and sea level rises which displace 25% or more of the world populations. But I have a very different take on the causes and solutions which are far easier than those carbon credits and reductions now proposed.

The main cause of global warming of the Earth, our Sun, and all the planets of our solar system is the alignment of the galactic equator with our solar system. The tremendous increase in cosmic light from all of the stars of our own galaxy as we travel through this area of space every 25,000 years increases planetary and solar temperatures. We have entered this area of space generally beginning in 1980 through 2016. But the effects of this galactic warming will increase and be with us much longer after 2016 as the planets adjust and slowly normalize over the next 100 years. Just as an oven takes longer to cool after it is turned off global warming will continue for many years before it cools enough to normalize the climate changes.

The second main cause of global warming is the damage done to the ozone layers of the north and south poles from the past and present use of refrigerants. Though this major cause of global warming has been addressed it's warming effect is already done and is quite apparent in the ice sheet and glacier melt acceleration of recent years.

The third main cause of global warming is mankind's burning of fossil fuels for energy and activity. Mainly the carbon dioxide emissions of coal, oil, wood, and natural gas has caused a major increase in carbon dioxide and general reduction of oxygen level upon our planet in the past 2000 years and especially the last 500 years since the industrial revolution began.

It matters not whether you believe in global warming or not since the solutions are so easy and natural and need to be implemented for other reasons regardless of the reason of global warming.

The first and greatest solution is to simply require current and future man-made vertical surfaces to be painted white or light colored to reflect sunlight back into the upper atmosphere. All roofs of all buildings, all roadways, driveways, and parking areas need to be painted white or light colored. It has already been calculated that this requirement alone in all countries can easily counteract the effects of global warming in a decade or 10 years time. The University of Arizona has been working on the primary roadway paint to do this -- paint all roadways, parking lots,and roofs a light or white colored as a solution to global warming.

The second solution is simple passive and inexpensive foam insulation of all homes and buildings. Sprayed foam, foam panels for walls and movable foam panels for windows at night can easily and dramatically super insulate buildings so that they require 90% less energy to both heat and cool yearround. By insulating only the top half of basements with foam panel insulation you retain the 55degree goethermal ground effect heating in winter and the 55 degree geothermal cooling ground effect in summer. (Add to this the use of only CFS or LED lighting and you can quickly reduce electric energy use by 50% or more.

The third solution to global warming is passive solar panels and solar cooking. If people would use simple passive solar panels which they can build themselves for heating in winter then 30 to 50% of all home and commercial heating can be saved for the entire lifetime of each building. Passive solar panels can also be used to heat most all hot water which is a major energy user in homes. Most coal fired energy plants which are the main CO2 emitters could be retired in a few years time as energy usage and demand in dramatically reduced by these simple conservation measures and the use of these newer technologies of CFS and LED usage.

Solar cooking, heating, and passive solar can be greatly expanded and used in less developed countries to reduce the use of scarce wood supplies and greatly reduce carbon emissions from cooking and heating in all less developed countries. LED and CFS bulbs usage can further greatly reduce emissions by simply subsidizing these more expensive bulbs in less developed countries.

There is one other area of simple carbon planetary correction which may become necessary someday if these above conservation measures are not done soon. Finely ground iron oxide powders can be placed over the oceans to create enormous plankton growth and blooms which capture C02 gases when the grow and die. This CO2 is captured and settles to the bottom of the oceans when the plankton dies. With this simple and inexpensive method the Earth might one day be made more stable from climatic temperature changes by rapidly capturing CO2 from the atmosphere of Earth.

It is not the very expensive massive government projects that need to be funded to stop and reverse global warming in the next 100 years. It is simply changing our ways to conserve energy with simple easy to apply off the shelf technologies we now have today. Simply enclosing every refrigerator today in the world with an extra 1 inch of foam panel insulation which takes about an hour and cost about $10 each would save enough electrical energy to shut down 25% of all coal fired electrical plants in the world today. And simply switching all lightbulbs in the world today to CFS or LEDs would shut down another 35% or more of all coal fired power plants. Most all of these above energy solutions will pay the consumer back in real immediate savings in a few months time and continue to save big money after this for a lifetime. Each individual must do their part and simply by-pass governments if they are too slow to act and assist in saving the planet from massive disruptions from future inaction.
