Now that the United State is being given an okay for nuclear power plants, how is it going to affect us by having all the nuclear waste?  These are questions that are in the minds of a lot of people living in communities that are worried about nuclear waste being in their back yards.  What to do with all the radioactive waste that the new nuclear power plants are going to produce?

 Many of the answers are being given to the public about the radioactive waste to be shipped out to the dumping fields in Nevada.  This could be a good answer to some of the nation’s problems in the fight against pollution.  We have now invested one of the largest amounts of money, time and efforts in building the new nuclear power plants.  Having the broad mind that there are many power plants being built to solve the same problem that we are experiencing.  When other nations build they are building jobs and a strong foundation for a healthy economy, something we desperately need. 

 Some of the benefits are going to be that it will create thousands of jobs across the nation.  Mostly construction, manufacturing and laboring jobs will be creative in the efforts of building better a newer energy source in the nation.  We will enjoy newer technology in fuel efficient vehicles.  Overall, this will help the nation in having a supplement of oil from other countries.  Stopping that addiction to oil must is a start for the nation in creating better, cleaner and efficient energy sources for everyone.   

There are more efficient ways of building energy industry.  For example having wind, solar and nuclear power as alternative can really help this problem that we are addressing.  But we as a nation must have a good alternative in the disposal of nuclear waste.  Having the nuclear power will be a solution for our problem that we have as a nation.  Finding new alternative will be a long term solution to this problem. 

 In conclusion, if we all as a nation focus on this really big problem of creating clean and efficient energy we can find a clean solution.  We sometime get in the caught up in the politics of who’s right or wrong instead of using our heads and finding out a good solution.  Keep a good positive attitude in energy production and the bright minds that are going to preformed and give us a clean solution will succeed.
