Everyone is facing the constant increase in electricity prices, as reflected in your monthly electric bill. The power producing companies consider it as their right to request increases due to: higher fuel prices, the cost of refining operations, and increased electric power consumption by businesses and consumers. Income levels remain the same, as inflation continues to rise, and thus we end up paying more for electricity on our electric bills each and every month! This trend of rising electricity bills has had a worsening influence and financial impact on our lives because the amount we pay every month is exceeds our budget. As time passes by, people have become more interested in finding alternative and most importantly cheaper ways of obtaining and/or producing electric power. These alternative ways include wind turbine energy, solar panel energy, fuel generators, and magnetic electricity generators.

Magnetic generators have proven to be the first truly environmental friendly and feasible alternative energy device that is easily available within the local marketplace. Magnetic electricity generators have gained a lot of interest and acclaim around the world in recent years. Average people are worried about the increasing cost of electricity, making magnetic electric generators popular. On the other hand, power producing companies consider this alternative energy option to be one of their major competitors. Yes, it is true that solar panel power and wind turbine power are good, efficient ways of producing electric energy even with their low energy output; however, there are proven low-cost methods for boosting the voltage output of solar and photovoltaic cells. They also have constraints of space, maintenance, initial investment and other installation expenses where as the magnetic electricity generator is free from such challenges.

Now a question arises--How does a magnetic generator work?

Basically, almost everyone is familiar with magnets, magnetic fields, and how they work. In similar fashion, the magnetic generator utilizes the attractive and repulsive forces of magnets in order to produce magnetic energy which is later converted into electric power for consumption. Magnetic forces are quite closely related to electric forces and can be viewed as different aspects or characteristics of a single electromagnetic force. Moving electric charges produce magnetic forces while moving magnets produce electric forces, including the production of electromagnetic waves. The interaction between the electric forces and the magnetic forces is the basis of operation for electric generators, motors along with many other modern technologies and devices.

A major benefit of owning a magnetic electricity generator is that it can help save your hard earned money throughout the year, year after year. Once you get a magnetic generator, you will certainly enjoy its benefits in terms of its environmental friendliness (i.e., reducing your carbon footprint), green energy efficiency, and low noise output (i.e., does not contribute to noise pollution, another environmental concern).

Now everyone is facing the constant increase in electricity prices. The power producing companies consider it as their right due to higher fuel prices. Income level is still the same and we have to pay extra electricity bill every month. This trend of rising electricity bills has worst influence on our lives because the amount we pay every month is out of our budget. As the time is passing, people are getting more interested in finding other alternatives and most importantly the cheaper ways of electricity production. These alternative ways include wind turbine energy, solar panel energy, fuel generators and magnetic electricity generators.

A magnetic generator has been proved as the first truly environment friendly and feasible alternative energy device that is easily available in the local market. Magnetic electric generators have a lot of fame all around the world recently. People are worried about the increasing cost of electricity due to which magnetic electric generators have become continuously popular and the power producing companies consider it as their major competitor. Yes it is true that solar panel power and wind turbine power are good and efficient ways but they have small energy levels. They also have constraints of space, maintenance, initial investment and other installation expenses where as the magnetic electricity generator is free from such issues. Here a question arises that how a magnetic generator works? Let's look at its working in detail.

Everyone is familiar with the magnets and knows exactly what they are. We have examined the magnetic force they contain. In similar fashion, the magnetic generator utilizes the repulsive forces of magnets. These magnets are assembled in a wheel spin like shape in order to create turbine and power production. We have also learned the law of perpetual motion that is applied here as the turbine moves forever under its own thrust.

This magnetic electricity generator can save you from the clutches of cruel electricity companies and also helps to save your hard earned income throughout your lifetime. In other words, once you get the magnetic generator, you will certainly enjoy its benefits. Most importantly, special attention has been paid in designing it as environment friendly. It has very low sound that is why it does not contribute to noise pollution.

Building a wind turbine power system not only brings major economic and environmental benefits, it can actually be an enjoyable project. This article will deal with the building of a wind turbine, and some of the related issues.

Wind turbines will allow you to generate free energy for your household, and are surprisingly easy and inexpensive to build. The weekend it takes to put together a turbine is more than worthwhile, when you take into consideration the permanent, free energy that results.

Putting together a wind turbine will require a few basic parts. These include a set of rotor blades, a rotor assembly, a generator, and a mounting plate for the turbine. Although it’s true that the ordinary hobbyist is able to put them together, the rotor and blades have to be aligned very carefully. It’s possible to buy these components pre-made if you don’t feel up to the challenge of building blades that have the correct pitch and shape. There are many designs posted on the web if you do go the route of building the blades yourself. The majority of wind turbines in use today have a three-blade design, which offers an ideal balance of rotation of stability. Next, you’ll need a platform that can spin in the wind, where the blades and rotor will be mounted. If you’re using a standard horizontal wind turbine, the blades will need to have the ability to orient themselves in accordance with the wind in order to rotate. The platform must also be able to rotate in order to accomplish this. This task also requires the use of a vertical rudder, mounted on the back of the platform. If you are interested in learning more about wind turbine blades, you can go to Wind Turbine Blade Design.

It’s crucial as well to use a suitable generator for your wind turbine. Different generators come in different sizes, provide different levels of output, and produce different types of current. It is possible to get a generator that directly outputs AC electricity, although the majority use DC. The generator is then attached to a shaft, which rotates along with the rotation of the rotor assembly. Most generators have one direction in which they can rotate in order to generate power, so make sure to have it set to match the rotation of your rotor. Once the generator is mounted and connected to the rotor, you can set up your new wind turbine in the best location available in terms of wind velocity and consistency. With a DC generator, you can, among other tasks, charge batteries and power certain small appliances. An ordinary inverter is all you need to convert the DC electricity to AC, which can then be used by most devices in the home. You can read Wind Power Generator for further info about wind power generators.

Eric Moore became interested in renewable energy after building an electric powered bike. Shortly after he began riding the bike to work, he thought, why not recharge the bike's batteries with solar power and commute to work completely free and totally pollution free. He then created a website to share his experience and knowledge with others.
What is Micro Generation?

If the renewable energy system you intend to install (or already have) is having capacity;

Less than 5.75 kw if single phase which means the maximum current is 25A (amperes)

or,

Less than 11 kw if Three Phase and maximum current per phase is 16A

the ESB Networks of Ireland classifies them as Micro Generation systems.

What Systems are included?

Micro Generation covers;

Wind Turbines- Photo Voltaic Cell ( also known as PV) arrays Mini Hydro Power Micro Combined Heat and Power Units- These are strictly not operated on renewable energy. But due to their very high fuel efficiencies and as some operate on Biomass fuel are included as Micro Generation systems.

Wind Turbines for Domestic use

Wind turbines in domestic use could be any of the following types;

Grid Tied Wind Electric Systems with Battery back-up Battery less Grid Tied wind Electric systems Direct drive , battery less wind electric systems

Grid Tied System

A grid tied system is a system where the renewable energy generated power is connected to the utility grid. This connection will serve to tap the power from the mains grid when the renewable energy generation is slack or export power back to the grid when the generation is surplus. In a micro generation system both the up load or down load will be low voltage single phase or three phase power.

What is a Grid Tied System with battery back up?

The battery back up serves to store the generated renewable energy power so that in case of a power outage in the grid mains the stored energy will be released to maintain a steady supply to the household. This is similar to the Uninterruptible Power supply (UPS) in a large system such as a server installation. The difference is that in a micro generation system the surplus power would be exported to the grid and imported only when the renewable energy is not adequate.

The battery back up type wind turbine system is a better option for catering for power outages than solar back up systems in that most of the power break downs occur due to complication of high winds. The major draw back is that this is the most expensive wind electric system you can have. Naturally the maintenance expenditure of both the turbine and the battery bank would constitute a part of the overall operating costs.

Battery less Grid Tied wind electric systems

This is the most cost effective and environmentally friendly wind turbine power generating system you will have. Elimination of batteries also eliminates the associated initial cost, cost of maintenance, cost of disposal of unserviceable and some times paying an efficiency penalty.

The only draw back will be that you will be totally without any power when the wind flow is slack and there is a power outage as well. As you know in these modern times total power outages of long durations in the mains utility grid is rare. It therefore is a small price to pay for the low investment and environmental benefits.

Battery less wind systems may provide more efficient power generation than a system with batter back-up. The reason for this is that the inverter electronics of the battery less system can match the wind's loads finer and regulate the turbine's rotational speed for optimized power generation.

Direct drive, battery less wind turbine systems

This is the least common of all the wind electric systems. The Wind turbine drives a piece of equipment such as a water pump with the generated electricity. The turbine is matched to the pump through an electronic controller. The operation of the pump will only be when the wind flow is adequate. In the right situation this could be most cost effective and simplest system. Another application is space heating which is a good match as it s cold when it is windy. But to be effective to cater for the high thermal load the turbines have to be fairly larger than for pumping.

Wind turbines if installed with professional help can benefit homes in the right locations. It is not the best home renewable energy system in terms of maintenance, capital cost and simplicity. In certain remote locations you may not have any other option left. The out put of wind turbines when the wind flow is reduced is little. Making your home a bit energy efficient will make even this reduced out put adequate for certain homes. An off grid system can also have a small gas, bio fuel or fossil fuel type generator for back up in poor winds.

Homemade Wind Turbine - Home Wind Generator Building

How To Build Your Own Wind Turbine, Or Generator At Home!

How would you like to Save up to 80 to 90% of your household electric bills by taking advantage of green energy resources?. This free green energy can be very easily produced from naturally resources resources that are available on our planet for free, and the best part about it is they are plentiful. There are very few devices that are needed to make these resources into free alternative energy - here are the alternative sources you can convert into free power examples are a homemade wind turbine, or a home wind generator. You do not require any expensive investment on your part for any other commercially made homemade wind turbine, windmill, or home wind generator when you are actually presented with the option to actually build one yourself. I will also go into how to save a substantial amount of money off your electric bills when you build your own wind turbine, or home wind generator it's surprisingly very easy to build one yourself, and can save you hundreds of dollars a year. Keep reading! Here's the program I recommend, that shows you step by step how to accomplish this.

Earth 4 Energy is one such program that has shown people how to build and create a homemade wind turbine, or a home wind generator from scrap parts that are readily available at any local hardware store in your area. In the course it contains very simple step-by-step directions that literally anyone can follow they don't use big words, or hard to understand directions, it's a very cut and dry simple process! The earth4energy home kit goes through the process step by step showing you step by step how to find all the necessary parts and putting them together to easily build a wind turbine, or a home wind generator it's actually a pretty fun process! And the best part about this eart4energy course is that all this building of your new wind turbine, or home wind generator can all be done for less than $200 dollars not like those commercially made turbines, or generators, that cost at he bare minimum $1000 and some can cost thousands of dollars more.

A homemade wind turbine, or home wind generator can actually be fully built and assembled from your very first step to your last in 3 days or a little more, depending on how much effort you actually put in on a daily basis to build it. For those living in a very sunny state or country, you can take the option of using a solar panel to collect the direct sunlight and convert the sunlight into solar energy power. Those of us who live in areas around the world where it is very windy, or has a strong wind blowing most of the time. Such as Chicago, IL. for example! can make use of the homemade wind turbine, or generator, to generate wind turbine power for their own home. These home wind power generators can help you to save a lot of money off of your electric bills, so in my opinion building it yourself is a great investment, that will pay off for years to come. Sort of a no- brainer in my humble opinion!

In these hectic tough financial times the world is currently experiencing, building a homemade wind turbine, or home wind generator, can help us to save some very good money on our electricity usage and all at the same time help keep the environment pollutant free. When we are actually presented with the option to effectively produce free energy from natural resources, and build our own wind turbines, or home wind generators then why in the world would we want to pay our local utility company for unneeded power usage?

Learn how to build a homemade wind turbine, or a home wind generator on a tight budget that virtually anyone can afford by following the simple step by step guide that shows you how to accomplish the whole building process very easily. Do not entirely depend on the free information downloaded from the internet because if you make a single mistake the entire project can be in jeopardy, or easily ruined and sometimes it can put your life in danger. I advise you to follow the guides very carefully as they are written by professional environmentalists, who guide you with safety and effectively building your own wind turbine, or generator all from the safety of your own home.

A wind turbine or home wind generator can generate 24 kilowatt of power that is enough to operate a laptop, television and a mobile phone charger. Free green alternative energy will run for at least a few years. Note: thousands of new jobs are being created as of the writing of this article for wind turbine technicians, solar panel techs, and many more green jobs. This is great news that our planet is making the necessary steps to go green. Get in on this trend, before the prices go up!
Wind turbines are the best answer to the high and rising cost of energy. Electricity created from wind power is the best answer to one of today's most serious problems--the high cost of fossil fuels.
There are other ideas which may help of course. Solar power is clean but,at the present time, solar panels are quite high priced and have limited power output. Their best use is probably as an addition to wind power production. They can be used as roof panels on a building and will supply additional power.
Nuclear power is another source and this form of power is being used in many places around the globe. The cost to build nuclear power plants is very high however and there is a lot of public opposition to their use after the Three Mile Island and Chernobyl disasters.
Nuclear power stations will probably be a large part of future power supply around the world. If well built with all necessary safeguards they have been shown to be dependable and safe.
Wind power is at present the best all around power source for small scale power generation. Small individually owned wind power turbines can supply a large portion of our power requirements in the years immediately ahead.
Many companies are now offering wind turbine generators for sale to the general public. They are being installed by town and country property owners in ever growing numbers.
An alternative is to build a wind turbine, from available plans,at a very big cost saving. Any home owner or farmer in city or country may use this type of low cost power and be completely independent of the local power utility.
It is not even necessary to have high winds all the time. Even gentle breezes will generate some power. This power can be stored in batteries for future use.
A very good wind turbine power generator can be built using new or used auto parts. It may be installed on a roof or on its own tower. The construction of a turbine from available plans and instructions is really quite simple. The average person who can use simple tools will have no trouble in building one or more of these wind generators.
Excess power which is produced can be sold to the local power utility in many places. This type of wind turbine or windmill was much used on farms in the 1930-1950s era and was proven to be reliable. Two or three of them can be built to supply all the power needed and this can be stored in batteries till needed for use. Build it and the wind will come-- and bring free power along with it for your use.

Are there any back up techniques?

Wind Turbine systems are available in several designs according to the way they store surplus power generated. For example:

Grid Connected Off Grid Stand alone Hybrid System etc.

Incidentally the applications of each of the above types will depend on the;

Availability of the National Power Grid within an economically viable distance. Ability to sell back surplus power to the National Grid. Buy-back price of unit energy uploaded Whether a reasonable and consistent wind flow is available at the site through out. Availability of a stand-by battery bank of adequate capacity and maintenance of it.

Of these the Grid connected and Stand Alone systems possess the ability to provide continuous power supply to the end user. A hybrid system will possess the same capability subject to it works as a stand alone system.

Stand Alone Small Wind Turbines

Stand Alone systems are Wind Turbines not connected to the Grid Supply but uses a battery bank to store surplus energy generated when the optimum wind velocity is available. The Electrical Energy stored in the battery bank will supplement the power needs of the home as Direct Current (generally below 5 kw) or in the case of higher capacity generators (generally above 5 kw, as Alternating Current.

In the case of the low capacity DC generators the surplus power generated will be directly stored in the battery bank. If the appliances and the power distribution of the home is AC oriented an inverter will be used to convert the power to AC prior to feeding the home distribution.

If the Wind Turbine is generally over 5 kw the electrical energy generated will be alternating current and cannot be stored in the Battery Bank direct. The inverter in this instance will be converting AC to DC for this purpose after stepping down the voltage from 230V (415V if it is 3 phase) to 12 V DC (nominal) generally and stored in the Sealed Lead Acid Battery bank. The inverter will convert the stored energy to AC again when the home demand dictates so.

Hybrid Wind Turbine Systems

A hybrid system will be similar in general to the above stand alone system but will incorporate Solar Powered PV Panel arrays (or diesel Generator Sets) to supplement the wind generated power in situations where the wind velocities decrease due to climatic or geological reasons during the year. The PV panel arrays have purpose designed inverters. Controls for matching the two systems are too necessary. Therefore one must be careful as to what he has to order additionally. Professional assistance in all these cases is therefore strongly advised.

Storage Battery Banks

The battery bank will require quite a few safety devices (such as over charge cut-out, Over current and voltage regulators etc) and controls which are generally solid state. The battery bank is located in a well ventilated (preferably air conditioned) room which is isolated from living areas. (This is because they release corrosive fumes and also pose an explosion hazard to some extent).

Adequate space for regular maintenance is a must. The batteries are of the deep cycle type (regular charging and discharging up to 80% of it's capacity is possible). Automotive batteries (shallow Cycle type) are not suited for this application.

Grid Connected Small Wind Turbines

A grid connected Wind Turbine Power System does not need such a huge array of additional components. It requires only an inverter to make the generated electricity supply compatible with the grid supply along with the necessary power cabling and controls. When the wind generated power is not adequate all it has to do is to draw the additional demand from the power grid. A kwh meter is of course required whether you want to buy the short supply or sell the excess production to the utility.

The cost of power cabling and installation may be high if the distance it has to be drawn is far. As you see it is possible to obtain a consistent power supply from small wind turbines. Under proper guidance these could be made very cost effective too.

Wind turbines are not capable of providing uninterrupted steady power by themselves simply because the wind velocities incident on them fluctuate widely.

Small Wind Turbines are good for power generation as long as the wind velocities 4.5m/s upwards is available. What if wind velocities drop below 4.5 m/s or rise above 16 m/s?

Japan is a densely populated country, and that makes the Japanese market more difficult compared with other markets. If we utilize the possibilities of near-shore installations or even offshore installations in the future, that will give us the possibility of continued use of wind energy. If we go offshore, it's more expensive because the construction of foundations is expensive. But often the wind is stronger offshore, and that can offset the higher costs. We're getting more and more competitive with our equipment. The price—if you measure it per kilowatt-hour produced—is going lower, due to the fact that turbines are getting more efficient. So we're creating increased interest in wind energy. If you compare it to other renewable energy sources, wind is by far the most competitive today. If we're able to utilize sites close to the sea or at sea with good wind machines, then the price per kilowatt-hour is competitive against other sources of energy, go the words of Svend Sigaard, who happens to be president and CEO of the world's largest wind turbine maker, Vestas wind systems out of Denmark. Vestas is heavily involved in investments of capital into helping Japan expand its wind turbine power generating capacity. It is seeking to get offshore installations put into place in a nation that it says is ready for the fruits of investment into alternative energy research and development.

The Japanese know that they cannot become subservient to the energy supply dictates of foreign nations—World War II taught them that, as the US decimated their oil supply lines and crippled their military machine. They need to produce energy of their own, and they being an isolated island nation with few natural resources that are conducive to energy production as it is defined now are very open to foreign investment and foreign development as well as the prospect of technological innovation that can make them independent. Allowing corporations such as Vestas to get the nation running on more wind-produced energy is a step in the right direction for the Japanese people.

========> http://energy.provencatalog.com/

The production of energy through what is known as microhydoelectric power plants has also been catching on in Japan. Japan has a myriad rivers and mountain streams, and these are ideally suited places for the putting up of microhydroelectric power plants, which are defined by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization as power plants run by water which have a maximum output of 100 kilowatts or less. By comparison, "minihydroelectric" power plants can put out up to 1000 kilowatts of electrical energy.

In Japan, the small-scaled mini- and micro-hydroelectric power plants have been regarded for a considerable time as being suitable for creating electricity in mountainous regions, but they have through refinement come to be regarded as excellent for Japanese cities as well. Kawasaki City Waterworks, Japan Natural Energy Company, and Tokyo Electric Power Company have all been involved in the development of small-scale hydroelectric power plants within Japanese cities.

I agree with the opinion that we, as a nation and even worldwide, must begin to control environmental conditions. It is becoming more and more obvious that our current and continual downslides are just as important to attempt to control. The environmental conditions of our world are just as the continued production of any other industry essential to the survival of human beings, if not more.

More and more one hears of the environmental issues that have risen as well as the ways in which to help improve the environment. Many people are coming to appreciate the fact that we are destroying our world, and that we must take steps to improve the environment and environmental threats that surround us.

Wind turbines collect energy from natural air flow. When this happens, due to the function of wind turbines, the air slows down and then spreads, diverting it around the wind turbine device or devices.

Here is a condensed idea of how the wind turbine works:

1. The Betz Limit

o	Betz Law or, the Betz Limit determined that the use of a wind turbine can generate almost fifty-nine percent of the energy that would flow straight through the cross section in the construction of a turbine.

o	No matter what kind of wind turbine or wind turbines one has, regardless of design, the Betz Limit applies.

o	Albert Betz, a physicist from Germany, discovered this fact: that a wind turbine works (almost universally) as an incredibly effective kind of energy net for wind power.

o	Albert Betz made this discovery in the year 1919.

2. The Unpredictability of Windy Weather

o	Because windiness varies no matter where you live, it is impossible to predict exactly how much wind can be generated over a significant period of time such as the yield per year.

o	In addition, different places have different probabilities of amounts of wind distribution.

o	The most frequently used piece of equipment used to determine the wind speed distribution is a two ? parameter Weibull distribution monitor.

o	This piece of equipment is used to determine what have been termed 'distribution shapes? from Gaussian to exponential.

For example: The Rayleigh model

This is a specific form of the Weilbull distribution function. In such a case, the distribution shape should be a parameter that equals two. Imitating or mirroring the distribution shapes, the Rayleigh model of the exact hourly wind speeds and patterns of a particular area.

3.	Higher Wind Speed

o	Because in certain places there is so much wind power to draw from, a lot of the wind in such places comes in gusts or short bursts.

o	Here's a good example:

When comparing the size of fueled power plants to the potential power of wind turbine farms, one will find that 10000 kW of wind turbine power is theoretically enough to produce as much power and energy as approximately one half of that, in power generation that is coal ? fired.

o	Despite unpredictability, the annual reports of wind turbine energy output usually vary by only a few points from year to year.

4.	Turbine Sitting ? when location is key:

o	The general rule is that when a location has an average wind speed of ten miles per hour it is a perfect location for wind generators.

o	Meteorology plays a very important part in the determination of exactly where to set up a wind farm or any other kind of wind turbine generator.

o	Ideally, one wants a location with a constant stream of wind as opposed to turbulent, gusty high mph winds.

o	The wind will virtually always blow faster at higher altitudes because of reduced drag from the sea or land, as well as the subsequently lower amounts of viscosity in the wind current.

o	Very flat lands with smooth average speed winds are great locations for wind turbines as well.

5.	Wind Parks and / or wind Farms of have many wind power turbines installed.

o	Utility-scale wind turbine generators have to have limits for the operating minimum.

o	This can prevent the application of a wind power generation system in especially cold areas

o	There are, however, many experiments in the making. There are internal heaters, heating lubricants, and minimum temperature monitors to consider in the installation and use of wind turbines.

More and more one hears of the environmental issues that have risen as well as the ways in which to help improve the environment. Many people are coming to appreciate the fact that we are destroying our world, and that we must take steps to improve the environment and environmental threats that surround us.

Professionals have estimated that 1% to 3% of the Sun's energy, the energy that hits the earth, transforms into wind energy. To give you an idea of how much energy this is, in simple terms: it is about fifty to one-hundred times the amount of energy that is produced by plant life and biomass over the entire earth.
